After a defensive mix-up in Pianco's zone, Fernando Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulysses Hames came out of the goal and Fernando Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matheus Machado during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Matheus Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Gláuber Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Bento's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Santos came free, but Allan Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Gláuber Diniz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bento's Allan Maranhense. Allan Maranhense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Gláuber Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Pianco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gláuber Diniz couldn't finish the play. Magno Duarte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulysses Hames having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Duarte in the 47th minute of play forced Pianco's goalkeeper Ulysses Hames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Gláuber Diniz struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Allan Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pianco. 55 minutes into the game, Agenor de Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bento's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pianco the free kick. In the 61st minute of the match Sandrinho Simão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulysses Hames showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Clemente Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sílvio de Amaral struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Allan Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pianco. In the 69th minute Magno Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Hames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gláuber Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th play minute Cristiano Santos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Allan Maranhense. 0-2. Allan Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gláuber Diniz in the 82nd minute of the match. Gláuber Diniz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Allan Maranhense came out and tried to block the shot, but Gláuber Diniz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 85th minute. Fernandinho da Fonseca's late challenge caught a Bento's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernandinho da Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Pianco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandinho da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Pianco's Ulysses Hames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Duarte in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Pianco left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bento.
