Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amílton Veiga started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Verrugas getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Alfredão Pernambucano hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Jeferson Baptista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabino Costa in the 9th minute of the match. When Bacada SC's Sabino Costa in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Verrugas's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Verrugas booed when Bacada SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Roberto de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee showed Juarês Jacinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adriano Xavier was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Amílton Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tião Corrêa having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Bacada SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caco Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Xavier's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tião Corrêa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Miguel Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Bacada SC's Jeferson Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bacada SC's Tião Corrêa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Bacada SC from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the match, Sabino Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Lopes. Verrugas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sabino Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Miguel Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabino Costa in the 57th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Sabino Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Lopes was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the game, one of Verrugas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Bacada SC. Edmílson Leão stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Miguel Lopes. 0-2. Adriano Xavier hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute Sabino Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeferson Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Amílton Veiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tião Corrêa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Waldir de Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bacada SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verrugas the free kick. In the 84th minute, Waldir de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th match minute, Verrugas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Sabino Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Lopes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sabino Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Verrugas's Miguel Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabino Costa in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Jeferson Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bacada SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeferson Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Juarês Jacinto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 99 minutes had been played.
