Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute Aílton Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donatello Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Caio Tavares made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Neiva. Cornelius's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Jaguarisinho AD's Samuca Terra in 13 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Zacarias Neiva guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Artur Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 19 minutes, Artur Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cornelius's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donatello Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur Lopez in the 31st minute. Augusto Furtado was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, one of Cornelius:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cornelius. The referee gave Jaguarisinho AD a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nicolas Leão, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cornelius's Zacarias Neiva. 0-2. Rodriguinho Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Zacarias Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Cornelius players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jaguarisinho AD were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuca Terra was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Jaguarisinho AD got a freekick which was hit by Breno de Godoy. When Dário Trancoso came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Cornelius fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dário Trancoso couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Lopez in the 55th minute of play forced Jaguarisinho AD's goalkeeper Donatello Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Cornelius's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca Terra came free, but Zacarias Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rodriguinho Porto fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jaguarisinho AD's protests and gave Rodriguinho Porto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Jaguarisinho AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho Porto to maneuver through the defense. If Samuca Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelius's Artur Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 minutes, Afonso Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaguarisinho AD and the Cornelius players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute of the match Dário Trancoso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donatello Peres skillfully saved the ball. In the 81st minute, Jaguarisinho AD's Samuca Terra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zacarias Neiva. Zacarias Neiva yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. When Samuca Terra came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Jaguarisinho AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuca Terra couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Samuca Terra took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Zacarias Neiva to make any attempt to save it. The Cornelius supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jaguarisinho AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Jaguarisinho AD.
