Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Sitinho AD's Evandro Figueiredo in the 6th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Enrique Mendes was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Cadori through an amazing save. In the 10th minute, Sitinho AD's Evandro Figueiredo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Inácio Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Cadori defense, Mazinho Mangueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Mendes. The Cadori fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Mendes should have stopped the shot. Enrique Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Figueiredo in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 minutes, Benjamim Cerezo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sitinho AD and the Cadori players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benjamim Cerezo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute Cadori were awarded a corner. Rodriguinho de Alcântara went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Vágner de Godoy got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-1. 37 minutes into the match. Evandro Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evandro Figueiredo in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Mendes saved Cadori from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Cadori's Enrique Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Mangueira in the 51st minute of play. After having played for 53 minutes, Mazinho Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sitinho AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazinho Mangueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severino Fernandes's late challenge caught a Sitinho AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severino Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cadori's Severino Fernandes got a free kick in the 54th minute. Sitinho AD's Zé Carlos Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agenor Marinho in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Cadori's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Figueiredo came free, but Enrique Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mazinho Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Mendes having to interfere. After 64 played minutes Cadori got a freekick which was hit by Rodriguinho Bittencourt. If Evandro Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. Enrique Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Mazinho Mangueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Sitinho AD were the better team. Sitinho AD's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
