Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jonas Veiga made the kick off which started today's match. Tomé Quaresma's late challenge caught a Educandos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomé Quaresma helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Balao getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Tomé Quaresma hit a great ball. Eliseu Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luizão Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo França, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, Balao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Teles to maneuver through the defense. Luizão Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Arce in the 22nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jonas Veiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Toledo was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. If Eliseu Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo França in the 31st minute of play forced Balao's goalkeeper Luizão Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glauco Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Eliseu Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizão Gaspar having to interfere. Jonas Veiga was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Balao's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Paulo França to strike the kick off in the second half. Álvaro Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Toledo having to interfere. Pedro Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Álvaro Borges's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Salgado during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Felipe Salgado hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Luiz Paulo França managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Educandos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Paulo França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Educandos's zone, Jonas Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Toledo came out of the goal and Jonas Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Balao's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christian Romero in the 74th minute. A nice corner shot did that Christian Romero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Toledo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 75 minutes of play, Balao's Álvaro Borges made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Luizão Gaspar managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Educandos's Eliseu Arce fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Balao getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Glauco Sampaio hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes Balao got a freekick which was hit by Christian Romero. Luizão Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Eliseu Arce sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Educandos's zone, Álvaro Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Toledo came out of the goal and Álvaro Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Educandos getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Zé Augusto Neiva hit a great ball. Balao walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
