Edmílson Netto started the match with the kick off. Silvério Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastião Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Parahyba EC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Elói Pirani hit a great ball. Siqueiro FC's Edmílson Netto got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvério Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cássio Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Carioca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Siqueiro FC's Gilvan Furtado got a free kick in the 19th minute. Cássio Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Carioca in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Parahyba EC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Víktor Mandrak hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Parahyba EC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Ramalho came free, but Ezequiel Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes, Elói Pirani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parahyba EC and the Siqueiro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elói Pirani hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvério Lima made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Carioca in the 54th minute of play forced Siqueiro FC's goalkeeper Cássio Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Silvério Lima made a precise shot to the right of Cássio Leite. Siqueiro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 60 minutes into the match, Siqueiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Carioca came free, but Cássio Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilvan Furtado hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 69th match minute, Siqueiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando de Barros to maneuver through the defense. If Samuel Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Siqueiro FC's zone, Silvério Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Leite came out of the goal and Silvério Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cássio Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvério Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Silvério Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parahyba EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvério Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvério Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cássio Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Novaes in the 98th minute of the match. Parahyba EC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Siqueiro FC to leave the ground with a draw.
