Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Jonas Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonas Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ezequiel Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Álvaro Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Parahyba EC's Ezequiel Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Parahyba EC from getting a goal against them. After 11 minutes Parahyba EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christian Romero who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Christian Romero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Parahyba EC's Ezequiel Mazza did a great save. Ezequiel Mazza made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Álvaro Borges sent off a good shot on target. Jonas Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Parahyba EC's Ezequiel Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Veiga in the 18th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Allan Novaes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parahyba EC and the Balao players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Parahyba EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Novaes to maneuver through the defense. Balao's Christian Romero shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ezequiel Mazza but with some difficulty. Luizão Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvério Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Samuel Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parahyba EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Carioca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luizão Gaspar came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Parahyba EC's Silvério Lima. But to his dismay, Silvério Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jonas Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Mazza having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, Parahyba EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Novaes to maneuver through the defense. 2-1 became the score in the 37th minute when Jonas Veiga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jonas Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Mazza having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Jonas Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balao's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Mazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvério Lima to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Veiga in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel Mazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 53 minutes of play, Balao's Jonas Veiga made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ezequiel Mazza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Glauco Sampaio hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Silvério Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Álvaro Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74thth minute of the game Álvaro Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parahyba EC's Ezequiel Mazza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ezequiel Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Veiga in the 76th minute of play. Álvaro Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Veiga in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ezequiel Mazza saved Parahyba EC from getting behind. Ezequiel Mazza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Veiga's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrianinho da Mata during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Glauco Sampaio's late challenge caught a Parahyba EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Glauco Sampaio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, Balao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. When Glauco Sampaio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. There was no doubt that Balao were the better team. Balao's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
