Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlinhos Mineiro started the match with the kick off. Otávio Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Jacarehype's Frédson da Silva got control of the ball when Luiz Paulo Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Donato de Godoy fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jacarehype's protests and gave Donato de Godoy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Donato de Godoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Paulo Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Nilmar Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacarehype's Frédson da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Mineiro in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Jacarehype's goalkeeper Frédson da Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Paulo Valadares. Kauan de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agostinho Severo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kauan de Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agostinho Severo in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kauan de Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Jacarehype defense, Luiz Paulo Valadares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frédson da Silva. The Jacarehype fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frédson da Silva should have stopped the shot. Kauan de Brito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agostinho Severo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Agostinho Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Kauan de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Otávio Barros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kauan de Brito. Nipolandia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otávio Barros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agostinho Severo to make the kick off. Luiz Paulo Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Luiz Paulo Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nipolandia's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Paulo Valadares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frédson da Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Paulo Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Frédson da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frédson da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Valadares in the 66th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Luiz Paulo Valadares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frédson da Silva. Jacarehype's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Paulo Valadares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 74th minute Carlinhos Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frédson da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nipolandia's zone, Agostinho Severo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauan de Brito came out of the goal and Agostinho Severo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Otávio Barros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Kauan de Brito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luiz Paulo Valadares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frédson da Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Otávio Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
