Caetano Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Guedes in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Guedes in the 21st minute of play forced Saue FC's goalkeeper Caetano Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Tucuman FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Víktor Baiano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Víktor Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Senna having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dráuzio Braga during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Víktor Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tucuman FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Senna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tucuman FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Víktor Baiano scored to the left of an out of position Cipriano Senna, making the score, 2-0. If Américo Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Víktor Baiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Américo Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Guedes in the 53rd minute of play forced Saue FC's goalkeeper Caetano Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Saue FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Aleandro da Fonseca hit a great ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Américo Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tucuman FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Souto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Víktor Baiano came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Saue FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Víktor Baiano couldn't finish the play. Diego Guedes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Caetano Teixeira 80 minutes into the match. Rômulo de Queirós hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Saue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Guedes came free, but Caetano Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enio Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Roberto Corrêa's late challenge caught a Saue FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Roberto Corrêa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Zé Roberto Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd match minute, Tucuman FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Roberto Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. Enio Baiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cipriano Senna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enio Baiano ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Víktor Baiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cipriano Senna was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Saue FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
