Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Altos FC's Moisés Tepedino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 8 minutes, Moisés Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moisés Tepedino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Altos FC booed when Saue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldir Porto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Caetano Teixeira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Moisés Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Carlos Sarmento charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Carlos Sarmento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luís Eduardo Braga was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Caetano Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Tepedino in the 23rd minute of the match. Waldir Porto struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Caetano Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altos FC. If Waldir Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldir Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Teixeira having to interfere. In the 37th minute Moisés Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caetano Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Tepedino in the 41st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Altos FC's Waldir Porto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Caetano Teixeira. That made the score 2-0 after 45 minutes of play.

Armando Salgado hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute, Altos FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Víktor Baiano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 59 minutes, Waldir Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldir Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Waldir Porto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Altos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 68 minutes into the match, Saue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kléberson Arósio came free, but Caetano Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moisés Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Caetano Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Moisés Tepedino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caetano Teixeira was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Enio Baiano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 87 played minutes Altos FC got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Porto. In the 88th match minute, Saue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Netto to maneuver through the defense. Waldir Porto's late challenge caught a Saue FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldir Porto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, Altos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Porto to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Altos FC booed when Saue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Altos FC had played much better football throughout.
