Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Magno Penha made the kick off which started today's match. When Nilton Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombina's protests and gave Nilton Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. Nilton Pereira hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Guajaratuba SC's Durvalino Faustino tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cícero Marinho charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cícero Marinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Colombina's Adolfo Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Colombina from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Colombina's zone, Magno Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Guedes came out of the goal and Magno Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Baltazar Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Guajaratuba SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Fontes couldn't finish the play. If Magno Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Guajaratuba SC booed when Colombina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Baltazar Fontes sped through Colombina's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adolfo Guedes. When Colombina's Ronaldo Cordeiro in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guajaratuba SC's goalie prevented a goal. After 28 played minutes, Colombina's Nilton Pereira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oséas Mazza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colombina reached it. After having played for 30 minutes, Eliseu Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseu Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute Ronaldo Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséas Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eliseu Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldo Cordeiro scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oséas Mazza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baltazar Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Adolfo Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magno Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 49th minute, Durvalino Faustino sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Colombina's Adolfo Guedes didn't even have to move. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldo Cordeiro to make the kick off. Colombina were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Guajaratuba SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benedito Amorim took the corner. In the 57thth minute of the game Ronaldo Cordeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guajaratuba SC's Oséas Mazza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Colombina booed when Guajaratuba SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseu Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adolfo Guedes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Magno Penha's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Cícero Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Magno Penha struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Adolfo Guedes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guajaratuba SC. After 89 minutes of play, Guajaratuba SC's Baltazar Fontes made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adolfo Guedes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adolfo Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magno Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
