Gil Costa struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Juvenal Viana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Furado FC. Glauco Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Viana having to interfere. A collision led to Itabirinha SC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Durvalino dos Santos hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Luís Eduardo Nunes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juvenal Viana. The goal made the score 1-2. Luís Eduardo Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
