Francisco do Valle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lenílson da Mata. Quinquelere's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tiete SS's Edu Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Mendes in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kauã Vieira saved Tiete SS from getting behind. Davi Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kauã Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Mesquita in the 32nd minute of play forced Quinquelere's goalkeeper Lenílson da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Mesquita did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Lenílson da Mata 34 minutes into the match. Kauã Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Igor Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Tiete SS booed when Quinquelere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willian de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Davi Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chicão Severo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Edu Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davi Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Kauã Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Tiete SS's Igor Mesquita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lenílson da Mata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quinquelere's goalkeeper Lenílson da Mata, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Davi Novaes took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kauã Vieira. Kauã Vieira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Davi Novaes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Kauã Vieira made a huge save. After 84 played minutes Tiete SS got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Souto. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chicão Severo in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lenílson da Mata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Edu Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Tiete SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edu Dantas couldn't finish the play. Igor Mesquita took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lenílson da Mata. Lenílson da Mata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 96 minutes in the game, Edu Dantas dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Lenílson da Mata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Mesquita in the 98th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
