After a rather tough play, Arisuel EC's Edson Quintal got a free kick in the 44th minute. Juninho Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo Neiva in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Josué Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arisuel EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Josué Monteiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juninho Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the game, José Pedro Veiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Juninho Leão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
