Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rubiacea's Donatello Cordeiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Flávio Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flávio Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13thth minute of the game Marcelinho Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apody's Cícero Guedes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Marcelinho Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes, Marcelinho Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rubiacea and the Apody players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Rubiacea got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Fonseca. Adriano Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Cícero Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Pontes in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Flávio Eger got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Flávio Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cícero Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Cristian Freitas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flávio Eger in the 44th minute. Flávio Eger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Cristian Freitas made a huge save. If Donatello Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Flávio Eger made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match Hélder Sarmento shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cícero Guedes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 54th match minute, Apody was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Paes to maneuver through the defense. Cícero Guedes made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Marcelinho Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Donatello Cordeiro had several of the Apody's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Cícero Guedes as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 61st match minute, Rubiacea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Elder Quadros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Apody's Cícero Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Apody from getting a goal against them. Cristian Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Eger in the 82nd minute of the match. Cícero Guedes made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Marcelinho Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Augusto Machado's late challenge caught a Rubiacea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Augusto Machado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Rubiacea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Pontes to maneuver through the defense.
