Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Simão Prestes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Guga Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 10 minutes, César Loureiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cacador SS and the Garruchos players grew even worse after the yellow card. César Loureiro hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Simão Prestes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cacador SS's Guga Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Noel Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noel Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Guga Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noel Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Guga Medeiros made a huge save. In the 22nd minute Wellington Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliézer Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Simão Prestes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guga Medeiros. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 41stth minute of the game Danilo Pirani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cacador SS's Guga Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Simão Prestes struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Guga Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garruchos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias do Vale in the 47th minute of play forced Garruchos's goalkeeper Eliézer Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When Maurinho Baiano fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garruchos's protests and gave Maurinho Baiano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Garruchos getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Maurinho Baiano hit a great ball. Noel Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Medeiros having to interfere. Noel Cardoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guga Medeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Noel Cardoso ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66thth minute of the game Noel Cardoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cacador SS's Guga Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Garruchos's goalkeeper Eliézer Loyola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias do Vale. A nice corner shot did that André Luiz Quirino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guga Medeiros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 76th minute, Cacador SS's Wellington Saldanha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Simão Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Guga Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes of play, Garruchos's Simão Prestes made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guga Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simão Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Guga Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guga Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Prestes in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Garruchos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
