Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pedro Lopez got the match started through his kick off. Cafu Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Osvaldinho de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldinho de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tales Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Caraibeira's zone, Pedro Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales Madureira came out of the goal and Pedro Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Hamílton Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th match minute, Caraibeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Lira to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Madureira having to interfere. If Osvaldinho de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Mulata's Erivaldo Fonseca got control of the ball when Osvaldinho de Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo José Vieira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erivaldo Fonseca. That made the score 1-0 in the 44 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo José Vieira made a kick off. Paulo José Vieira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erivaldo Fonseca having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Lopez in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tales Madureira saved Caraibeira from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Caraibeira's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Lopez came free, but Tales Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Osvaldinho de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Adriano Xavier in the 81st minute really tested Tales Madureira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Erivaldo Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo José Vieira in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erivaldo Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mulata fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Caraibeira. João Vítor Arruda stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Erivaldo Fonseca. 3-1. In the 97th minute, Osvaldinho de Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caraibeira's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
