Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fabiano Paranaense started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Fabiano Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erivaldo Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorival Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute Miguel Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano Paranaense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Brodel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Campidelis in the 13th minute of play forced Turmalina's goalkeeper Erivaldo Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Paranaense in the 16th minute of play. Miguel Gaúcho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Brodel having to make a save. Miguel Gaúcho made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 20thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Alfredo Brodel would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 22nd minute, one of Morotim:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Morotim. Marcelinho Quaresma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Toledo having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Turmalina's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu Campidelis came free, but Erivaldo Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes Turmalina got a freekick which was hit by Flavinho Antunes. Marcelinho Quaresma spun around in front of the goal 36 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Turmalina's goal. 39 minutes into the match, Morotim's Amadeu Campidelis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erivaldo Toledo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabiano Paranaense struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Alfredo Brodel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turmalina. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amadeu Campidelis made a kick off. Amadeu Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erivaldo Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Turmalina booed when Morotim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eurico Secco lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 84th minute, Flavinho Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience cheered when Erik Medeiros's long shot passed Erivaldo Toledo's right side. It was 1-2, 84 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Turmalina's Erivaldo Toledo got control of the ball when Marcelinho Quaresma tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erivaldo Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 99th minute, Amadeu Campidelis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Erivaldo Toledo, passed just outside the right post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Morotim had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
