Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Naldo Fonseca started the match with the kick off. Rodriguinho Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Durval Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Vanderslaike FC's Naldo Fonseca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, Válbson Monteiro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vanderslaike FC's Ediberto Abraão quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Durval Saraiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naldo Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. If Naldo Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Naldo Fonseca put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Durval Saraiva. Baireiro SS's Durval Saraiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Baireiro SS from getting a goal against them. Durval Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Lopes in the 39th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naldo Fonseca in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Durval Saraiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgar Alvarenga to strike the kick off in the second half. Ediberto Abraão's late challenge caught a Baireiro SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ediberto Abraão helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vanderslaike FC's Ediberto Abraão got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 56thth minute of the game Naldo Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baireiro SS's Durval Saraiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Naldo Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vanderslaike FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naldo Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Naldo Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durval Saraiva. Baireiro SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Naldo Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of Baireiro SS booed when Vanderslaike FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Arne Stor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Naldo Fonseca scored 4-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Durval Saraiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the match, Baireiro SS's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Fonseca came free, but Durval Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Naldo Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Durval Saraiva. Baireiro SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Vanderslaike FC's Naldo Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vanderslaike FC's Oswaldo Perez got a free kick in the 79th minute. Baireiro SS's Nando Peixoto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vanderslaike FC. Naldo Fonseca took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Durval Saraiva. Durval Saraiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Naldo Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Durval Saraiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Válbson Monteiro made in the 97th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luís Fernando Ferreira however managed to control. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vanderslaike FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Baireiro SS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
