Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Claudinei Zanette got the match started through his kick off. Eusébio Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 11 minutes, Sydney Lopez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tapecu and the Jary players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardo Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Paraibano in the 15th minute of the match. Falcão Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu Leite in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Eusébio Freire ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falcão Albuquerque was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Edu Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Tapecu's zone, Claudinei Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Abraão came out of the goal and Claudinei Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Eusébio Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapecu's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusébio Freire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Falcão Albuquerque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Falcão Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu Leite in the 37th minute of the match. Ulisses Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Abraão having to interfere. Ricardo Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When Eusébio Freire came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Tapecu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Freire couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gugu Leite made a kick off. Ulisses Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Tapecu booed when Jary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Falcão Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 72 minutes Jary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matheus Barbosa who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Tapecu's corner Matheus Barbosa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Falcão Albuquerque quite easily take care of the ball. If Gugu Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Tapecu booed when Jary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 played minutes Tapecu got a freekick which was hit by Matheus Barbosa. In the 89th match minute, Jary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edu Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. If Eusébio Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jary players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tapecu.
