Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 3 minutes of play, Jary's Claudinei Zanette made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kaká da Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Falcão Albuquerque managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Itaparica FC's Valdir Galvão fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Valdir Galvão did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Falcão Albuquerque 6 minutes into the match. Valdir Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Falcão Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ulysses Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Valdir Galvão got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 1-2 became the score in the 21st minute when Claudinei Zanette elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Falcão Albuquerque didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdir Galvão went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 29th match minute, Itaparica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdir Galvão to maneuver through the defense. Falcão Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulysses Pereira in the 34th minute of play. Claudinei Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká da Costa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Itaparica FC's Ulysses Pereira got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulysses Pereira was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Itaparica FC's Ulysses Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Falcão Albuquerque narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kaká da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Claudinei Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute Valdir Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdir Galvão struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Falcão Albuquerque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaparica FC. Valdir Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulysses Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Albuquerque having to interfere. Valdir Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Falcão Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdir Galvão struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Falcão Albuquerque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaparica FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulisses Paraibano got free with Kaká da Costa in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valdir Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Albuquerque having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Lúcio Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, Jary's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Pereira came free, but Falcão Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
