After 6 minutes, César Leão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mucuroca and the Guerreiros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. César Leão hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Arthur Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jailson Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Guerreiros FC booed when Mucuroca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Hamílton Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mucuroca's zone, Hamílton Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Bertassi came out of the goal and Hamílton Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erasmo Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu Sarmento in the 21st minute of the match. Erasmo Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamílton Neves in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mucuroca's César Leão got a free kick in the 27th minute. Hamílton Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hamílton Neves came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Guerreiros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamílton Neves couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Sarmento in the 42nd minute of play forced Mucuroca's goalkeeper Erasmo Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmo Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamílton Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hamílton Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Cauan Pitta made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Gugu Sarmento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erasmo Bertassi. Mucuroca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gugu Sarmento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamílton Neves got free with Erasmo Bertassi in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gugu Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Bertassi having to interfere. Jailson Ramalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Erasmo Bertassi managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Guerreiros FC's Hamílton Neves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Erasmo Bertassi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romário Rezende in the 84th minute. Giovanni Paranaense's late challenge caught a Guerreiros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovanni Paranaense helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, Mucuroca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 97 in the game by Gugu Sarmento from a close distance when the talented Erasmo Bertassi managed to make a qualified save. Mucuroca's players were relieved.
