Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guto Gomes started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Guto Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manfredo Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Augusto Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, MaconhaFC's Ronaldão Silveira got a free kick in the 8th minute. Sérgio França took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dário Palmeira. MaconhaFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Armindo Tepedino fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itahum AD's protests and gave Armindo Tepedino a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Itahum AD getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Armindo Tepedino hit a great ball. Augusto Dracena came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by MaconhaFC's Manfredo Nóbrega. But to his dismay, Manfredo Nóbrega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Augusto Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jorge Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MaconhaFC's Dário Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrício Freire in the 36th minute of play. Manfredo Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Dracena having to interfere. Pedro Luís Galvão scored 3-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Dracena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natã Luz made a kick off. Augusto Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Gomes in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, MaconhaFC's goalkeeper Dário Palmeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrício Freire. 59 minutes into the match, Guto Gomes notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Itahum AD's Augusto Dracena. Augusto Dracena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manfredo Nóbrega in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Dracena saved Itahum AD from getting behind. Pedro Luís Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Dracena having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manfredo Nóbrega in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Dracena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Diniz during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Itahum AD getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Leonel Diniz hit a great ball. Guto Gomes might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augusto Dracena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guto Gomes ran back to his position shaking his head. Itahum AD's Augusto Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wellington Galvão in the 74th minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Guto Gomes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itahum AD's Augusto Dracena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. MaconhaFC's Guto Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Itahum AD getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Aníbal Vinhas hit a great ball. Manfredo Nóbrega took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augusto Dracena. Augusto Dracena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guto Gomes in the 86th minute of play forced Itahum AD's goalkeeper Augusto Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Dracena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manfredo Nóbrega's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itahum AD's goalkeeper Augusto Dracena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Natã Luz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dário Palmeira. MaconhaFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natã Luz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Tomás Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Augusto Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MaconhaFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
