If Aílton de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 5 minutes into the match, Camaqua's Eusébio Meireles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faustão Ceresso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Aílton de Godoi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oséias Amorim. The goal made the score 1-0. After having played for 10 minutes, Aílton de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suassurana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aílton de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Camaqua getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Flávio Tasso hit a great ball. Gabriel Quaresma kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. With a little luck, Camaqua's Oséias Amorim got control of the ball when José Augusto Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Aílton de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suassurana's supporters rose to their feet, but Aílton de Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oséias Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Oséias Amorim managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Suassurana's José Augusto Amaral fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Flávio Tasso hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Eusébio Meireles took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustão Ceresso. Faustão Ceresso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 24 minutes into the game, Flávio Tasso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Camaqua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suassurana the free kick. In the 24th minute, Flávio Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Oséias Amorim managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Suassurana's José Augusto Amaral fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Flávio Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Suassurana's Benjamim Pombal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Américo Carneiro fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Camaqua's protests and gave Américo Carneiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Camaqua getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Américo Carneiro hit a great ball. Aílton de Godoi struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Oséias Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suassurana. 42 minutes into the match, Suassurana's Aílton de Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oséias Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jorge Quadros hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aílton de Godoi to strike the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, Suassurana's Aílton de Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oséias Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aílton de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 played minutes Suassurana got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Rosa. The audience was convinced that José Augusto Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oséias Amorim was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. A collision led to Camaqua getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Joélson Leite hit a great ball. Aílton de Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aílton de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Camaqua getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Joélson Leite hit a great ball. Suassurana's Aílton de Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Augusto Amaral took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oséias Amorim. Oséias Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Aloísio Freire's late challenge caught a Camaqua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aloísio Freire helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Camaqua booed when Suassurana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aloísio Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oséias Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes into the game, Aílton de Godoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Oséias Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Suassurana players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
