The audience thought a goal was coming when Danilo Almeida got free with Yan Vianna in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Danilo Almeida who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Yan Vianna when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Natã Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Yan Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, André Luís Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Zeca Jacinto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute, Babilonia's Natã Amorim dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. When Danilo Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Babilonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Almeida couldn't finish the play. Natã Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danilo Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Natã Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Babilonia booed when Coassu SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Augusto de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Babilonia's Natã Amorim in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coassu SC's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natã Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Natã Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yan Vianna was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Jaime Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Amorim in the 62nd minute of play forced Coassu SC's goalkeeper Yan Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Coassu SC defense, Danilo Almeida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yan Vianna. The Coassu SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yan Vianna should have stopped the shot. Yan Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, André Luís Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coassu SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Luís Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71stth minute of the game André Luís Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Babilonia's Zeca Jacinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Danilo Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Yan Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matheus Eger hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Natã Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Babilonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Natã Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yan Vianna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 minutes, Danilo Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Babilonia and the Coassu SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Babilonia getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Danilo Almeida hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the game, Rafael Nogueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coassu SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Babilonia the free kick. A collision led to Coassu SC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Rafael Nogueira hit a great ball. Babilonia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
