Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cléberson Dracena kicked off to start the match. 8 minutes into the match, Luís Eduardo Cardoso notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ibitirama FC's Kléberson Ramalho. Kléberson Ramalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ibitirama FC's Kléberson Ramalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Ibitirama FC from getting a goal against them. Kléberson Ramalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cléberson Dracena's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibitirama FC's goalkeeper Kléberson Ramalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Eduardo Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Kléberson Ramalho made a huge save. In the 29th minute, Jailson Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Luís Eduardo Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Gurjao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Eduardo Cardoso couldn't finish the play. When Inácio Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibitirama FC's protests and gave Inácio Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ibitirama FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Inácio Moreira hit a great ball. Kléberson Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléberson Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Ezequiel Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gurjao's Afonso Cordeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tony Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Cordeiro having to interfere. Gurjao's Afonso Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Vides in the 44th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cléberson Dracena in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kléberson Ramalho saved Ibitirama FC from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ezequiel Vieira to strike the kick off in the second half. Ibitirama FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Gurjao's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ricardinho Eger took the corner. Afonso Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Vieira in the 55th minute of play. Kléberson Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Eduardo Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Luís Eduardo Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Gurjao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Eduardo Cardoso couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute Luís Eduardo Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gurjao's Cléberson Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kléberson Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléberson Dracena in the 75th minute of the match. Kléberson Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Luís Eduardo Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Ibitirama FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Eduardo Cardoso came free, but Kléberson Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Luís Eduardo Cardoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Kléberson Ramalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kléberson Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruninho de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
