Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gilmar Arantes made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Patu SC booed when Taciba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulinho Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glauco Lopez made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Hermínio Mandrak sent off a good shot on target. 5 minutes into the game, Rony Brito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patu SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taciba the free kick. 8 minutes into the game, Paulo Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Custódio Porto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hermínio Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Lopez having to interfere. Glauco Lopez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermínio Mandrak in the 21st minute. Custódio Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilmar Arantes might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glauco Lopez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilmar Arantes ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Taciba's Júnior Britto got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes, Paulo Tróia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patu SC and the Taciba players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes Patu SC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Tróia. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Paulo Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taciba's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Custódio Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nuno Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rony Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Taciba got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Rocha. Custódio Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Custódio Porto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Cavalcante went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Taciba booed when Patu SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Patu SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Taciba were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Paulo Rocha made the kick off in the second half. If Hermínio Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glauco Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldão Passos hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. A collision led to Taciba getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Dé Albuquerque hit a great ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Paulo Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taciba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuno Cavalcante scored 1-3 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Custódio Porto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Custódio Porto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Juninho Vieira. Custódio Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Rocha in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Patu SC's Elivélton Furtado seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Elivélton Furtado the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Patu SC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Elivélton Furtado had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 81 minutes into the game, one of Patu SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Taciba's Renato Romero got a free kick in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Paulinho Souto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taciba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patu SC the free kick. Paulinho Souto hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Nuno Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Cavalcante got free with Custódio Porto in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the match, Patu SC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Rocha came free, but Custódio Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glauco Lopez came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by Patu SC's Hermínio Mandrak. But to his dismay, Hermínio Mandrak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. The Patu SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Taciba's performance. The match ended with a win for Taciba.
