Allan Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Paiva having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Esporte Clube Vitória got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Marquez. After 10 minutes, Donato Pires made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Esporte Clube Vitória's Antônio Paiva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Caio de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Breckenfeld in the 15th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Christiano Meireles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caio de Andrade showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Allan Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allan Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Esporte Clube Vitória booed when Manguaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caio de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauan Porto in the 24th minute of the match. Allan Toledo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Henrique Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Caio de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Porto in the 30th minute of play forced Manguaba's goalkeeper Caio de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Paiva having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donato Pires to strike the kick off in the second half. Genílson Guedes's late challenge caught a Manguaba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genílson Guedes helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Esporte Clube Vitória got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Guedes. Donato Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esporte Clube Vitória's goalkeeper Antônio Paiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 58 played minutes Esporte Clube Vitória got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Guedes. If Kauan Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manguaba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Kauan Porto scored to the left of an out of position Caio de Andrade, making the score, 1-1. Henrique Breckenfelds short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Caio de Andrade to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Caio de Andrade managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Esporte Clube Vitória's Henrique Breckenfeld fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jefferson Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manguaba's Caio de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Porto in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Manguaba getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Allan Toledo hit a great ball. Jefferson Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Antônio Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
