Dalmo de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Juarês Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmo de Alcântara in the 35th minute of play forced Amorim's goalkeeper Juarês Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Amarantina EC's Dalmo de Alcântara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juarês Vides. That made the score 1-0 after 37 minutes of play. 40 minutes into the match, Amarantina EC's Dalmo de Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juarês Vides narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
