Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Abolicao's Kauã Brito started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Arealva got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Cosme. If Kauã Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kauã Brito in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Rossi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Kauã Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauã Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute Giovanni Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arealva were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Abolicao's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cido Porto took the corner. Arealva's Cido Porto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dadá Ortiz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Luiz Fábio Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abolicao's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fábio Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duarte Rossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Albertinho Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Arealva's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fábio Cabral came free, but Duarte Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arealva were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Abolicao's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cido Porto took the corner. After taking down the ball on Arealva's corner Cido Porto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dadá Ortiz quite easily take care of the ball. Sílvio Luís Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Dadá Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dadá Ortiz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 46 played minutes Abolicao got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Furtado. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
After 55 minutes, Emílio França mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abolicao and the Arealva players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57thth minute of the game Sílvio Luís Lopez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abolicao's Dadá Ortiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 58 minutes, Jaime Salgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abolicao and the Arealva players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes Abolicao got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Salgado. After 60 played minutes Abolicao got a freekick which was hit by Emílio França. Sílvio Luís Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudinei Cardozo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes, Abolicao's José Paulo Mello shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Duarte Rossi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Abolicao reached it. After 67 played minutes Abolicao got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Gerber. After having played for 68 minutes, Cido Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arealva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cido Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dadá Ortiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giovanni Cabral went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Dadá Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Luiz Fábio Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abolicao's Kauã Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Edmílson Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abolicao's protests and gave Edmílson Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Abolicao got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Furtado. After 93 minutes of play, Arealva's Giovanni Cabral made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dadá Ortiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arealva were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Abolicao for a fine match.
