After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gino Ceresso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomé Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Abolicao's Dadá Ortiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Abolicao from getting a goal against them. Dadá Ortiz made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Alex Gomes sent off a good shot on target. If Alex Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. Camamu's attack was well implemented in the 73rd minute, but when Gino Ceresso was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. With a little luck, Abolicao's Dadá Ortiz got control of the ball when Alex Gomes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
