Murillo Teles scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fiori Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carrazedo's João Carlos Zanette proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Carrazedo from getting a goal against them. Fiori Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Hílton Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiaguinho de Brito was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Ademar Travassos got free in front of the goal in the 27th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Fiori Torres was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Elano de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacueira's supporters rose to their feet, but Elano de Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Carlos Zanette breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fiori Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademar Travassos in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademar Travassos in the 33rd minute of play forced Jacueira's goalkeeper Fiori Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hílton Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. João Carlos Zanette was a little too slow when Elano de Amaral got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Jacueira's zone, Murillo Teles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiori Torres came out of the goal and Murillo Teles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ademar Travassos was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Murillo Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrazedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murillo Teles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Tiaguinho de Brito fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrazedo's protests and gave Tiaguinho de Brito a yellow card for diving instead. Tiaguinho de Brito hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Hílton Montenegro missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 61 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the João Carlos Zanette right hand side. After 64 minutes, Murilo Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrazedo and the Jacueira players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carrazedo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Sebastião Rosado placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! João Carlos Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elano de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Jacueira's Cláudio Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Carlos Zanette narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ademar Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fiori Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Jacueira's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Travassos came free, but Fiori Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Jacueira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. If Ademar Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
