The supporters of Juritis FC booed when Leria SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Juvenal Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Augusto Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Matorin in the 21st minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Juvenal Matorin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leria SC's Carlos Augusto Vianna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kléberson Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Juvenal Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Augusto Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Mumbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juvenal Matorin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Kiko Mumbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Leria SC's Kléberson Quirino got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When Kiko Mumbach came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Juritis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kiko Mumbach couldn't finish the play. Raí Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldinho Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Juritis FC's Arlindo Cerezo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Carlos Augusto Vianna was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Belchior Perez. When Leria SC's Osvaldinho Paraibano in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 75th minute, Arlindo Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kiko Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 minutes, Kléberson Quirino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leria SC and the Juritis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 played minutes Leria SC got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Quirino. Carlos Augusto Vianna was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juvenal Matorin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 81 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Osvaldinho Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leria SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldinho Paraibano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raí Meireles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Leria SC's Pedrão Toledo got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 93rd minute Juvenal Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto Vianna having to interfere.
