Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jorginho Guedes took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Salgado in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dedé Tavares saved Beverni AD from getting behind. In the 5th match minute, Beverni AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. Beverni AD's Dedé Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Salgado in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Vinícius Cerezo had to leave the field with a concussion. Armando Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 19 minutes of play, Chiquito EC's Hermínio Soeiro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dedé Tavares was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Beverni AD's goalkeeper Dedé Tavares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Salgado. Chiquito EC's Hermínio Soeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermínio Soeiro in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dedé Tavares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jorginho Guedes charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorginho Guedes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Beverni AD's Jorginho Guedes got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Beverni AD's goalkeeper Dedé Tavares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermínio Soeiro. In the 37th minute, Cristiano Nunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilson Leal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Hermínio Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorginho Guedes was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Beverni AD's Jorginho Guedes got a free kick in the 46th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Salgado in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dedé Tavares prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimundo Salgado was the one to do the kick off. Dedé Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Salgado in the 60th minute of the match. When Luciano Esteves fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chiquito EC's protests and gave Luciano Esteves a yellow card for diving instead. Luciano Esteves hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Cristiano Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raimundo Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dedé Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Chiquito EC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Hermínio Soeiro hit a great ball. Beverni AD's Dedé Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Salgado in the 89th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Raimundo Salgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dedé Tavares. Beverni AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Salgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chiquito EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Beverni AD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
