Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Waldemar Perez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute, Osvaldo do Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barauna SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 11 minutes of play, Barauna SS's Simão Bueno made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vito Saldanha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Simão Bueno could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Vito Saldanha however easily saved by the left post. Waldemar Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Nascimento having to interfere. If Gerson Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kiko Braga during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kiko Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Barauna SS got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Salgado. After having played for 31 minutes, Gerson Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerson Maranhense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rdth minute of the game Waldemar Perez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barauna SS's Joel Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA's Breno Marquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Gerson Maranhense put in a rough tackle. After 37 played minutes S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Maranhense. 38 minutes into the match, Ulisses Salgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vito Saldanha. S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulisses Salgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After a rather tough play, S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA's Waldemar Perez got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Simão Bueno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barauna SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldo do Valle to make the kick off. Eduardo Rodrigues hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Barauna SS's Ulisses Salgado in action when he in the 54th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA's Vito Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Bueno in the 56th minute of play. When Waldemar Perez came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldemar Perez couldn't finish the play. Vito Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Breno Marquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Breno Marquez ran back to his position shaking his head. Breno Marquez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Joel Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Marquez in the 74th minute of play. S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA's Vito Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo do Valle in the 75th minute of play. Kiko Braga was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 79th match minute, Barauna SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko Braga to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Barauna SS's zone, Manfredo Peres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Nascimento came out of the goal and Manfredo Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waldemar Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Joel Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Waldemar Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Barauna SS got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Cabral. After a defensive mix-up in Barauna SS's zone, Breno Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Nascimento came out of the goal and Breno Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Barauna SS were victorious despite being under pressure from S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA for much of the match.
