Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Arthur Barros made the kick off and thus started the match. Germano Machado came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Patinhos AD's Arthur Barros. But to his dismay, Arthur Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Germano Machado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arthur Barros's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Era EC's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Barros came free, but Germano Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Patinhos AD's zone, Oswaldo Saraiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Saldanha came out of the goal and Oswaldo Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arthur Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Machado having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Andrézinho Vieira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Era EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patinhos AD the free kick. If Arthur Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur Barros's late challenge caught a Era EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arthur Barros helped the player get up and apologised. Arthur Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Norberto Machado notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Era EC's Germano Machado. Germano Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 36 played minutes Patinhos AD got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Machado. Luís Eduardo de Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Patinhos AD's Geovânio do Vale got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47thth minute of the game Oswaldo Saraiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Patinhos AD's Gilberto Saldanha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oswaldo Saraiva to make the kick off. Oswaldo Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Saraiva in the 56th minute of play. Patinhos AD's Gilberto Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Saraiva in the 61st minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Gernando Furtado put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Era EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Patinhos AD:s goal. After having played for 83 minutes, Franklin Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Era EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franklin Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Norberto Machado notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Era EC's Germano Machado. Germano Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Patinhos AD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
