Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Acuarana's Albertino Loureiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerônimo Eger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Albertino Loureiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jerônimo Eger. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Tomé Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Santos in the 10th minute of play forced Acuarana's goalkeeper Tomé Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes of play, Pageu AD's Adrianinho Lopez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomé Xavier was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the match, Pageu AD's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu Marquez came free, but Jerônimo Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gugu Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Eger having to interfere. Alfredinho Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Marquez in the 30th minute of play forced Pageu AD's goalkeeper Jerônimo Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Adrianinho Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Xavier having to interfere. In the 40th minute of the match Mauro Gomes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomé Xavier skillfully saved the ball. Tomé Xavier came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Pageu AD's Humberto Santos. But to his dismay, Humberto Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gugu Marquez was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Adrianinho Lopez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomé Xavier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 55th match minute, Acuarana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Mazza to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pageu AD booed when Acuarana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gugu Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pageu AD's Alfredinho Pinho got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Albertino Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Adrianinho Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Pageu AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrianinho Lopez couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Fábio Guerra during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Acuarana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fábio Guerra to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the game, Acuarana's Gugu Marquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerônimo Eger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. After having played for 80 minutes, Albertino Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acuarana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertino Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Mazza struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jerônimo Eger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acuarana. Vladimir Loureiro charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimir Loureiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Vladimir Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albertino Loureiro struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Jerônimo Eger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acuarana.
