After a defensive mix-up in Sede's zone, Nico Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Loureiro came out of the goal and Nico Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Massa scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltazar Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baltazar Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Massa in the 10th minute. Baltazar Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Mesquita charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezequiel Mesquita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sede booed when HAMMERFALL F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 15 minutes on the clock, César Campidelis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 14th minute, one of HAMMERFALL F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for HAMMERFALL F.C.. When the match had been going on for 17 minutes, Sede's Nilton Lopes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Baltazar Amaral. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Leonel Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot. HAMMERFALL F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Albuquerque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 34th minute Nico Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Martins in the 36th minute of play forced Sede's goalkeeper Tiago Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Doni Sena fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sede's protests and gave Doni Sena a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sede getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Doni Sena hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Wágner Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tião Moraes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 43rd playminute. If Nico Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Nico Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nico Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the HAMMERFALL F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Paiva couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, HAMMERFALL F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dedé Linhares came free, but Baltazar Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltazar Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the HAMMERFALL F.C. defense, Dedé Linhares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltazar Amaral. The HAMMERFALL F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltazar Amaral should have stopped the shot. The supporters of HAMMERFALL F.C. booed when Sede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedé Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nico Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nico Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Tiago Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
