Cristóvão Sabóia started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Tacaimbo's Jano Eger slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tunç Baybars. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. Mad Max FC's Tunç Baybars proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Mad Max FC from getting a goal against them. Nelsinho Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Décio Mota in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno Zilles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Tacaimbo's Luís Veiga got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Nelsinho Velasco fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mad Max FC's protests and gave Nelsinho Velasco a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mad Max FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Nelsinho Velasco hit a great ball. Enrique Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Mad Max FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Oswaldo Brito hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jano Eger kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tunç Baybars. That made the score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. Edmundo Sabóia came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tunç Baybars could save by the left post. 36 minutes into the match, Tacaimbo's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Sabóia came free, but Nuno Zilles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tunç Baybars having to interfere. During the 44th minute of the match Nelsinho Velasco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nelsinho Velasco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Tacaimbo booed when Mad Max FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelsinho Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jano Eger made the kick off in the second half. Mad Max FC's Oswaldo Brito quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luís Veiga, made in the 53rd minute of the game. Nuno Zilles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Décio Mota in the 54th minute of the match. Edmundo Sabóia succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdemar Vasconcelos during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Décio Mota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Nuno Zilles made a huge save. In the 69th minute, Enrique Martins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuno Zilles was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 85th minute, Décio Mota left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mad Max FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Décio Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Nuno Zilles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurício Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Tacaimbo getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Luís Paulo Barbosa hit a great ball. The Tacaimbo support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
