Gino Lopez started the match with the kick off. Michel Mumbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Gino Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Michel Mumbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lavadeira SC's Michel Mumbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Lopez in the 7th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dito Abraão during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Herois da Apae FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dito Abraão hit a great ball. Lavadeira SC's Michel Mumbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Lopez in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lavadeira SC's goalkeeper Michel Mumbach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd play minute Eriberto Perez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carlos Fernando Sousa. 1-1. In the 27th minute Dário Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Mumbach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Eduardo Furlan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Herois da Apae FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Dida Esteves's late challenge caught a Herois da Apae FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dida Esteves helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Lavadeira SC got a freekick which was hit by Dida Esteves. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gino Lopez in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Mumbach saved Lavadeira SC from getting behind. After 41 minutes of play, Herois da Apae FC's Gino Lopez made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michel Mumbach was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gino Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Michel Mumbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute Eduardo Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Mumbach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

In the 53rd minute, Herois da Apae FC's Aírton Penha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Michel Mumbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 58 minutes, José Gerber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lavadeira SC and the Herois da Apae FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. José Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Michel Mumbach was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dito Abraão. In the 60th minute, Adolfo Tepedino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute, Gino Lopez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Herois da Apae FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. With a little luck, Lavadeira SC's Michel Mumbach got control of the ball when Gino Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Fernando Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Lavadeira SC's Edmundo Saraiva broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 97 minutes, Gino Lopez made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Herois da Apae FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
