Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdir da Rocha started the match with the kick off. Medonho were furious when Alessandro Pirani was red carded, 3 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Braz. Franklin Zilles stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tião Britto. 0-1. Tião Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir da Rocha in the 11th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Gualter Mumbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurício Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Braz's Franklin Zilles got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Dário Novaes hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir da Rocha in the 29th minute of play forced Medonho's goalkeeper Tião Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Valdir da Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tião Britto. Medonho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdir da Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Valdir da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tião Britto having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Braz's zone, Valdo Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Adolfo Barreto came out of the goal and Valdo Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Adolfo Barreto made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Matheus Santos sent off a good shot on target. Matheus Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Adolfo Barreto having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matheus Santos made a kick off. João Adolfo Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes, Dário Novaes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Braz and the Medonho players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Braz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Novaes to maneuver through the defense. If Matheus Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Valdir da Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tião Britto was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Gualter Mumbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. João Adolfo Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Adolfo Barreto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matheus Santos's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Maurício Vianna's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Tião Britto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Medonho's goalkeeper Tião Britto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maurício Vianna struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Tião Britto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Braz. Matheus Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matheus Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
