Clemente Sena did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Rubinho Falcão 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clemente Sena made a kick off. The supporters of Esporte Clube Rio Bonito booed when Dolearina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Augusto Botelho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Esporte Clube Rio Bonito played a much better game than Dolearina and deserved their victory. The Dolearina players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
