But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabiano Bittencourt couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC Shox's Joaquim Catarinense got a free kick in the 34th minute. Fabiano Bittencourt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wágner Jacinto having to make a save. Tomasina SC's Wágner Jacinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Tomasina SC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Hílton Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Shox's supporters rose to their feet, but Hílton Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wágner Jacinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kléberson Bertassi hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Wágner Jacinto made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Fabiano Bittencourt sent off a good shot on target.

Wágner Jacinto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquim Catarinense went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute, Hílton Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Joaquim Catarinense made a precise shot to the right of Wágner Jacinto. Tomasina SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Hílton Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Wágner Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Tomasina SC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Bittencourt came free, but Wágner Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rafinha de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Shox had played much better football throughout.
