Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedrinho Moraes started the match with the kick off. Angelo Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílton Zilles, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Armindo Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gil Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Fernando Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Moraes in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, one of Quiriritiua:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Quiriritiua. Angelo Ribeiro went to the wrong direction when César Bertassi was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Pedrinho Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Carlos Fernando Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gil Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Rezende's Carlos Fernando Linhares got control of the ball when Gil Neiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Pedrinho Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quiriritiua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Leopoldo Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th match minute, Quiriritiua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Neiva to maneuver through the defense. Amílton Zilles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Ribeiro having to interfere. Armindo Urbano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amílton Zilles made a kick off. Gil Neiva struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Carlos Fernando Linhares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quiriritiua. Pedrinho Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Márcio Ferreira went to the cornerflag to take it. 62 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Simões was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quiriritiua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rezende the free kick. After a rather tough play, Quiriritiua's Rodolfo Simões got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When Pedrinho Moraes fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quiriritiua's protests and gave Pedrinho Moraes a yellow card for diving instead. Pedrinho Moraes hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the game, Valério Eger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quiriritiua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rezende the free kick. 67 minutes into the game, one of Quiriritiua:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Rezende. César Bertassi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Angelo Ribeiro. 0-1. Carlos Fernando Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute of the match, Armindo Urbano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Angelo Ribeiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Quiriritiua's Serafim Goiano got a free kick in the 77th minute. Armindo Urbano might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Ribeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armindo Urbano ran back to his position shaking his head. Armindo Urbano in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Angelo Ribeiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Amílton Zilles struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Angelo Ribeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rezende. In the 87th minute of the game, Armindo Urbano landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 87 minutes into the game, Walmyr Matorin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quiriritiua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rezende the free kick. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quiriritiua! Quiriritiua:s Angelo Ribeiro showed great skill when he stopped César Bertassi:s penalty. In the 90th minute, César Bertassi made a precise shot to the right of Angelo Ribeiro. Quiriritiua's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Quiriritiua's zone, Amílton Zilles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Ribeiro came out of the goal and Amílton Zilles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílton Zilles in the 98th minute of play. Rezende's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
