Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabiano Hames took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes Estacadinha got a freekick which was hit by Lino Pombal. Estacadinha's Amílton Meireles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Estacadinha from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the match, Estacadinha's Oséias Quadros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Percival Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Salvavida's Abel Brito shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Amílton Meireles but with some difficulty. Salvavida's Percival Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Hames in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Estacadinha's zone, Elder Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amílton Meireles came out of the goal and Elder Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Amílton Meireles made a huge save. If Fabiano Hames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Elder Peixoto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amílton Meireles, passed just outside the right post. Valério Lara hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elder Peixoto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabiano Hames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Nascimento having to interfere. If Rafael Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Rafael Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valério Lara during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Salvavida's Valério Lara got a free kick in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Salvavida's goalkeeper Percival Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oséias Quadros. When Salvavida's Rafael Mendonça in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estacadinha's goalie prevented a goal. If Oséias Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abel Brito's late challenge caught a Estacadinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Brito helped the player get up and apologised. 76 minutes into the game, one of Salvavida:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Estacadinha. Armindo Faustino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Percival Nascimento. 0-1. Amílton Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Fabiano Hames managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estacadinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano Hames was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Estacadinha booed when Salvavida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valério Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Armindo Faustino sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Salvavida's Percival Nascimento didn't even have to move. Estacadinha's Amílton Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Mendonça in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Estacadinha walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
