Gualter Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Arlindo Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Caneiras SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis Goiano to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Enéas Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Turvania AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Enéas Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arlindo Breckenfeld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arlindo Breckenfeld came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Turvania AD's Tomás Pinho. But to his dismay, Tomás Pinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Olívio Soares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leandro Maciel. Turvania AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Turvania AD's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Garcia came free, but Leandro Maciel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Erasmo Fernandez made a precise shot to the right of Leandro Maciel. Turvania AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Pinho in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arlindo Breckenfeld prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd match minute, Turvania AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Roger Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson de Azevedo in the 46th minute of play forced Turvania AD's goalkeeper Leandro Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Eduardo Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Tomás Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Cordeiro in the 58th minute of play forced Caneiras SC's goalkeeper Arlindo Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes Turvania AD got a freekick which was hit by Lucas do Valle. Gualter Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Turvania AD's Leandro Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Garcia in the 66th minute of play. Tomás Pinho took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arlindo Breckenfeld. Arlindo Breckenfeld dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Tomás Pinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arlindo Breckenfeld. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Pinho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute, José Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caneiras SC's Jefferson de Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caneiras SC's Arlindo Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Pinho in the 85th minute of play. Tomás Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Turvania AD fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Turvania AD's Tomás Pinho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tomás Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
