Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carlos Eduardo Garcia took the kick off in the first half of the match. Osvaldo Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Silvério Ortiz made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Jefferson de Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. Roger Bittencourt hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes of play Caneiras SC's Roger Bittencourt was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Antiga FC booed when Caneiras SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antiga FC's Osvaldo Madureira got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Osvaldo Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Antiga FC fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Antiga FC's Cauã Nascimento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Caneiras SC's zone, Cauã Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arlindo Breckenfeld came out of the goal and Cauã Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Caneiras SC's Carlos Eduardo Garcia got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Cauã Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Antiga FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Osvaldo Madureira made the kick off in the second half. Arlindo Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Madureira in the 52nd minute of play. Cauã Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cauã Nascimento got free with Arlindo Breckenfeld in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Osvaldo Madureira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Arlindo Breckenfeld, passed just outside the right post. Osvaldo Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arlindo Breckenfeld made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Cauã Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, Cauã Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cauã Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Arlindo Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antiga FC. Arlindo Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0-2 became the score in the 75th minute when Osvaldo Madureira elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 77 played minutes Antiga FC got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Berger. Cauã Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Arlindo Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Antiga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Santos to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Arlindo Breckenfeld successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Osvaldo Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Breckenfeld having to interfere. Júlio Pontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arlindo Breckenfeld. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júlio Pontes ran back to his position shaking his head. Antiga FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
