Cacare's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tomás Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Dracena having to interfere. Digo Faustino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Pinheiro in the 35th minute of the match. Digo Faustino had great luck who in the 39thth minute grab hold of the ball when Nando Neto from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Giuseppe de Lara got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Cubatão FC booed when Cacare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Pinheiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Digo Faustino made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
