In the 2nd match minute, THE STRONGEST ORANGE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Cabral to maneuver through the defense. Mathias Cabral scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramiro de Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes into the match, Mathias Cabral notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pioes SS's Ramiro de Alcântara. Ramiro de Alcântara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mathias Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Anísio Soeiro put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ramiro de Alcântara. If Mathias Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gino Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pioes SS's protests and gave Gino Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of THE STRONGEST ORANGE booed when Pioes SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gino Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Pioes SS's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Cabral came free, but Ramiro de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pioes SS's Tião Trancoso got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, THE STRONGEST ORANGE's Edmundo Leão broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 26thth minute of the game Mathias Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pioes SS's Ramiro de Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 27 played minutes Pioes SS got a freekick which was hit by Tião Trancoso. Anísio Soeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramiro de Alcântara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. When Anísio Soeiro got free in front of the goal in the 35th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ramiro de Alcântara was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Anísio Soeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of THE STRONGEST ORANGE booed when Pioes SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Mathias Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. THE STRONGEST ORANGE's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro de Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anísio Soeiro was the one to do the kick off. THE STRONGEST ORANGE's Mathias Cabral was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 51st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Mathias Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramiro de Alcântara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 63 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when THE STRONGEST ORANGE's Anísio Soeiro fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 64th match minute, Pioes SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelinho Porto to maneuver through the defense. Anísio Soeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anísio Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ramiro de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When THE STRONGEST ORANGE's Anísio Soeiro in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pioes SS's goalie prevented a goal. In the 82nd minute, Marcelinho Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathias Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anísio Soeiro in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro de Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes into the game, THE STRONGEST ORANGE's Mathias Cabral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramiro de Alcântara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Mathias Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelinho Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, THE STRONGEST ORANGE's Mathias Cabral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramiro de Alcântara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96thth minute of the game Anísio Soeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pioes SS's Ramiro de Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. THE STRONGEST ORANGE played a much better game than Pioes SS and deserved their victory. The Pioes SS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
