Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cauan Paulista got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Novaes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Rodriguinho Carioca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 6thth minute of the game Percival Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cauna EC's Amauri Corrêa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Cauan Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Cauan Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes Cauna EC got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Simão. After some careless play in the Cauna EC defense, Percival Martins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amauri Corrêa. The Cauna EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amauri Corrêa should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival Martins in the 17th minute of play forced Cauna EC's goalkeeper Amauri Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Percival Martins in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amauri Corrêa saved Cauna EC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauan Paulista in the 23rd minute of play forced Cauna EC's goalkeeper Amauri Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cauan Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Quixaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauan Paulista couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Cauna EC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nico Castro hit a great ball. Zé Paulo Novaes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Rodriguinho Carioca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 36 played minutes Quixaba got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim de Castro. 38 minutes into the game, Cauan Paulista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quixaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cauna EC the free kick. Cauan Paulista hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Deivid Brodel made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Zé Paulo Novaes made a precise shot to the right of Rodriguinho Carioca. Quixaba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After having played for 55 minutes, Zé Paulo Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cauna EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Paulo Novaes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Percival Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Amauri Corrêa made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Quixaba's Cauan Paulista slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amauri Corrêa. That made the score 2-2 after 61 minutes of play. Percival Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Amauri Corrêa made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldemar Simão during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Cauna EC's zone, Percival Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amauri Corrêa came out of the goal and Percival Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Percival Martinss short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Amauri Corrêa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 75 minutes into the match, Cauan Paulista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amauri Corrêa. Cauna EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cauan Paulista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Rodriguinho Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Brodel in the 81st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Deivid Brodel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodriguinho Carioca was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. A collision led to Quixaba getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Davi Batista hit a great ball. Deivid Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Carioca having to interfere. The Quixaba players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
